Bowness is a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute drive. Bowness-on-Windermere is a major tourist destination with easy access to spectacular Lake District scenery and attractions via car, bus, and ferry.
Guests can request information about local tourist attractions or quieter, remote beauty spots. In addition to the Lake District attractions, Bowness boasts excellent dining and drinking options. For evening meals, we highly recommend pre-booking restaurants to avoid disappointment.
